At LENSCAPE Coterie, each of our 41 rooms is more than a place to rest: it’s a carefully composed frame within the visual narrative of Portugal. Inspired by photography, every room offers a unique perspective, capturing the textures, tones, and moods of the country. With a curated collection of iconic images, the rooms reflect Portugal’s landscapes, history, architecture, and traditions, creating immersive spaces where walls tell stories and the atmosphere invites contemplation.

Rooms carry evocative names such as Desejo, Saudade, and Viagem, hinting at the feelings or memories each space awakens. The photographs that inhabit these rooms were captured by Luís Espinheira, a visual artist who explores perception, intuition, and experimentation in photography, and Inês Silva Sá, a multidisciplinary photographer and videographer who bridges art, design, and authentic storytelling. Their images capture fleeting encounters, light, and landscapes, transforming each room into a narrative where imagination and perception meet.

In a time of constant transformation, Luís and Inês reinterpret Portugalidade, revealing the country’s many layers – personal, poetic, and contemporary. Each image is accompanied by reflections on location, time, and mood, allowing guests to experience Portugal not only visually but emotionally, in a profoundly intimate way.
